As the Communication & Marketing Director at Ampara Animal, the largest animal protection NGO in Brazil, I’ve led transformative campaigns to raise awareness about both sheltered dogs and our new frontier: wild animal conservation.

One standout initiative is the Wild Algorithm Reset, which I co-created—researching how social media feeds drive demand for exotic pets, launching a powerful exhibition in São Paulo, and orchestrating an influencer-led movement that re-educated over 12 million social media algorithms to suppress wildlife trafficking content. This initiative achieved a 92% drop in views of wild animal posts and a 95% drop in engagement, with measurable reductions in purchase intent and inspiring policy actions.
Earlier, I spearheaded Life Print, Ampara’s pioneering campaign to protect jaguars: we developed the first certified jaguar-print for fashion, licensing it to major brands to fund on-the-ground conservation, rescue, and reintroduction of threatened big cats.

Beyond wild fauna, I’ve overseen campaigns focused on sheltered dogs—launching photo exhibitions, digital storytelling series, and public events that elevate animal welfare and responsible care. Coupled with partnerships with the governor and lawmakers to change legislation, these initiatives have amplified public engagement and improved legal protections.

Now expanding our reach to wild animals, Ampara Animal has partnered with WWF-Brazil to publish a vital Guide for Managing Wild Animals Impacted by Fires in the Pantanal, resulting in over 500 rescue operations and the establishment of a specialized rehabilitation center.

In every project—be it shelter advocacy, policy change, or wild animal campaigns—I craft the narrative, coordinate media outreach, engage influencers, and design emotionally compelling experiences that educate, inspire, and drive action. Through these efforts, Ampara Animal is transforming society’s relationship with animals—from rescued dogs to the wildest creatures of Brazil's ecosystems.
